The DCMT-4000 motion detecting sensor operates on one 9-volt battery (not included) and detects a person or vehicle passing by out to about 100 feet.The sensor then sends a signal back to the DCR-4000 or RE-4000 Plus up to one mile* away.
The DCMT-4000 can be used by homeowners and business owners alike as a driveway alarm, entrance alert, back yard monitor, etc. Installation is very quick and simple and can be done by virtually anyone.

This additional Dakota 4000 Wireless PIR is powered by a traditional PP3 battery, fully weatherproof, small in size, it has a narrow beam pattern designed to avoid small animals on the ground and an impressive 20 metre detection range.
It is supplied with two types of brackets making it very easy and versatile to install.

This PIR detects people/large animals. It does not reliably detect vehicles – see our vehicle probes for vehicle detection.
