This PTZ camera benefits 220X optical zoom. It comprises a Sony 480 TVL CCD Day / Night camera system which can operate in light areas as low as 0.02 lux (virtual darkness) offering a very high quality resolution.
This camera can operate 18 different protocols allowing it to be controlled from most DVRs without any issue.
Using the presets, this camera can constantly scan through a set routine which can eliminate the need for several cameras to be capturing at once. Also PIR / movement sensors can be run in conjunction with this PTZ camera to notify camera to home into a fixed co-ordinate when movement is detected - very nice for survellience of outside areas such as car parks ect.
With a horizontal scanning speed of 80 degrees per second this camera is more than fast enough for nearly all applications. Vertical speed is 90degs/second!
