Product Description
The detection range of the PIR is 15m - this can be reduced by selecting one of the three settings on the PIR.
If positioned horizontally at about 1.5m above ground the PIR will avoid detecting small animals and wildlife to avoid false triggers.
Range:
The wireless range of the PIR is 600m (line-of-sight) - the sensible operating distance will equate to around 250-400 metres depending on the number of obstacles between the transmitter and receiver.
A repeater can be added to increase the transmission range to 900m.
PSU:
The PIR operates using a solar panel that keeps an internal (supplied) battery pack charged up and functional. There is a socket to the rear of the PIR that allows you to plug in an AC adapter to boost the charge if your PIR happens to be situated in a shady area or has lacked charge due to poor weather.
Bracket:
An adjustable PIR bracket is supplied with the device.
