This video entry kit comes complete with the new Icona video monitor, flush entry panel and the slave gateway which enables door entry management on a smartphone or tablet with the free app.
It is a convenient solution for any user who needs a stationary monitor and wants the flexibility of answering calls when away.
The gateway can support up to fifteen additional devices (dependant on bandwidth limitations) with four simultaneous streams (up to four devices can be used at a time). The intercom facility between devices is enabled when more than one is connected to the system.
The kit comes pre-programmed, but the gateway configuration needs to be carried out via the internal web server. To guarantee connectivity to Wi-Fi, the gateway needs to connected to an ADSL router.

The new codec upgrade explained (H.264)
Comelit have improved the performance of their ViP system. The new products (H.264) are not compatible with older ViP systems.
You can tell the systems (and products) apart because ALL new H.264 codec products include 'H' in their product code. The only exception to this rule are the products containing the Comelit Icona monitor.
