this kit consists of the MURS ALERT vehicle probe sensor, M438-BS base station / tranceiver.
The kit is ideal for use in fixed locations with leading driveways or vehicular entrances. The probe will only detect vehicles.
Product Specifics
The MURS Alert Probe sensor is a long-range wireless driveway sensor that, when paired with the basestation will give you real-time alerts when vehicles pass over it. The system will not be triggered by false-alarms such as wildlife or people. When a vehicle is detected it will transmit a signal back to the base station which will alert you through spoken word warning (and chimes if installed).
There are 5-channels and 38 sub-channels to choose from to eliminate any interference from other local users. The probe uses a CR123A battery (included) which has an anticipated life-span of 6 months.
The MURS transmitter will have a range of up to several miles* to the hand-held or base station transceivers. This extended range will help monitor areas that have been very difficult to monitor in the past. It will be of great value to businesses monitoring customer traffic, security guards trying to monitor remote warehouses, and farmers monitoring vacant farm sites.
