Wireless Dakota Driveway Alarm PIR supplied with the unique Wireless Portable Pager, with a operating range of an impressive 800 metre:
PIR
This compact weatherproof PIR has a 20 metre long single sided infrared beam (narrow designed to help avoid being triggered by Fox, Cat or Rabbits ect) and is very simple to install, powered by a simple 9v PP3 battery which will last around 6 - 12 months in most applications.
We would recommend fitting it at a height of about 1 to 1.5 metre, and parallel to the ground.
Please note
The PIR is geared towards detecting people and animals rather than vehicles, if you want vehicle detection please consider adding a probe to the kit!
