Product Description
This is an entry level DVR ideal for basic monitoring and recording purposes. Although it does offer online streaming capability it requires 'a three spanner rating' technical knowledge. If streaming is an aspect you consider important to your system we recommend the Qvis Quattro DVR, also available from us!
In particular we like the ease of use this DVR offers - simply from plugging in USB mouse (supplied), by left/right click, you can completely operate this DVR switching between functions rapidly.
The AP9114 offers full remote access (upto 10 users simultaneously) via the internet and also viewing on iPhone (additional apps are now available for other smart phones). You can use both the VGA and coax outputs simultaneously which is a feature not on other DVR's. A single selectable audio channel can be linked to any of the video channels.
A key feature is the physical size of this machine making it particularly attractive for covert operations. The unit is fan cooled which must been seen as a positive as this helps prolong HDD life. The fan is ultra quiet.
The DVR has 1 HDD port allowing upto 2TB storage. Download of evidence is done via USB stick and the format is then playable in any PC.
We only use Seagate SkyHawk professional Audio Visual DVR hard drives!
In short this DVR has incredible performance for the money and really punches above its weight!
